 | No cancellations due to weather accepted previous to one hour before
league play. |
| Out of bounds: bring ball in two (2) club lengths from the out of bounds
point that is directly across from where the ball lies. One stroke penalty. Do
not hit another ball. Do not bring ball on to fairway. See score card for out
of bounds holes. |
| Water hazards, (creek, pond, etc): Drop ball at point where it went into
the hazard, no closer to the hole. One stroke penalty. |
| Slow play: If you lost a ball, take one out of you bag! There are people
playing behind you. Don't go on a ball patrol to find one that is a tree
magnet! |
| Honors: Git on'er and stay on'er! (to be determined by a coin toss on the
first hole) |
| No talking while others are hitting. SHUT THE F**K UP! |
| Par three's: If play is backed up, allow group behind to hit up before you
hole out. |
| Maximum strokes: 12 on 5's, 10 on 4's and 3's |
| Repair all divots, ball marks and shoe marks. |
| Preferred lies: (no pun intended) AKA Winter rules: If your ball is in
YOUR fairway and you STILL feel the need to improve your lie, you can. (move
ball with the club). However, the fairway means the short stuff! |
| Play ready golf: When you're up, grip it and rip it. You can talk smack
after you stripe one. (or save yourself the embarrassment when you don't) |
| No-Show: If a player's opponent does not show up for play, that player
will play "against the course". Full handicap will apply to each hole. 1 point
will be awarded for each hole a player makes "Par or Better". IE a player has
a handicap of 18. He will receive 2 strokes per hole. He shoots a 6 on a par
4. player receives 1 point.(6-2=4) No points shall be awarded to the
non-showing player. team with non-showing player shall forfeit "Low Net"
points. |
| If slow play becomes an issue, tee times will be based on the foursomes
average score. Lower averages start first, highest last. |
| There are NO MAKEUP ROUNDS for teams not showing up as scheduled! If your
team isn't there, then you should have gotten subs. However, if you can
arrange to play your opponent at a time EARLIER then your scheduled time, it
is OK. All cards must be turned in by the end of the round. |
